The Oklahoma Historical Society, Research Division is seeking candidates for a temporary 999 Digitization Technicians. This is an entry level position; this position will work directly under the supervision of the collections staff. Primary duties will include digitizing historical records. Excellent verbal and written communication are essential for this position, as well as the ability to multitask. The Oklahoma Historical Society Research Division provides genealogical and historical research services to library users. As a National Archives affiliate, founded in 1893, our collections offer many unique items related to Oklahoma history from pre-statehood and beyond. We are a public service division dedicated to providing quality customer experience. While assisting researchers, we provide a multitude of services to patrons via telephone requests, correspondence, and in-house. In addition to fulfilling customer needs, we collaborate as a team seeking opportunities to collect, preserve and share the history of Oklahoma and its people.
