About The Position

AECOM Hunt is looking to add a Digital Technologist professional (VDC/BIM) to our construction team in Chicago, IL, to support the ORD21 Project. This role involves working with the VDC Project Manager, performing tasks under minimal supervision, and taking direction from the VDC PM. Responsibilities include Project Management Platform administration, training, and reporting, creation of coordinated field drawings, MEP Coordination, leading project BIM coordination meetings, and training/mentoring VDC Project Engineers. The role also requires successfully planning and implementing initiatives (tech or process) within a project, including pilot proof of concept, maintenance, and scaling.

Requirements

BS Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience in the field of BIM/VDC for construction projects (vertical or horizontal) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Experience in management model version history in Autodesk Forma, supplemental Revit Documentation and modeling as needed to support the field, as well as sheet set management in Autodesk Forma.
A high level of technical Revit skills including working with filters, parameters and annotations within an Autodesk Cloud Collaboration environment.
Experience in the management of intelligent 3D digital model data will enhance collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills; ability to run coordination meetings and translate model findings into actionable site tasks.
Strong organization and change management skills with a focus on quality, safety, and schedule.
Deep understanding of BIM processes.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively and efficiently across the project.
Strong Revit skills.

Responsibilities
