About The Position

The Associate Digital Systems Support Specialist plays a key role supporting the day-to-day technology needs of our manufacturing operations at Hershey’s West Hershey Plant. As part of the team at one of Hershey’s largest and most iconic production facilities, this individual helps ensure seamless plant operations by delivering reliable digital and IT support in a fast-paced, highly automated environment in the Sweetest Place on Earth. In addition, the Associate Digital Systems Support Specialist: Provides front-line digital systems and client support for plant users including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Works under the direction of the Plant Digital System Support Specialist and partners with Corporate IS teams. Supports plant-level computer systems, networking, and hardware refresh activities. Assists users in identifying, evaluating, implementing, and maintaining technology-based solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong troubleshooting skills supporting PC hardware, software, printers, and plant applications
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (PC and server environments)
  • Understanding of networking concepts, virtual environments, and infrastructure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant environment
  • Strong customer service mindset with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users clearly
  • Ability to escalate issues appropriately and work collaboratively with IT partners
  • Demonstrates Hershey Values and commitment to safety and plant procedures
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication)
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow direction
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Foundational knowledge of PCs, printers, and general IT systems

  • Basic understanding of programming or database concepts preferred
