About The Position

Full Sail Media, a family-owned marketing business with 40 years of experience, is seeking a Digital Strategist with a focus on Paid Media (80%) and SEO (20%). This role is hands-on and requires day-to-day execution of advertising campaigns. The strategist will support diverse clients, manage multiple ad campaigns, and contribute to digital strategy. Responsibilities include preparing media plans, supporting ad creative development, executing ad buys, compiling updates and reports, and assisting with other firm-wide responsibilities. This is not a remote role and requires commuting to the Baltimore, Maryland area.

Requirements

  • Hands-on-keyboard experience and willingness to execute day-to-day advertising.
  • Demonstrable paid media capabilities.
  • Must be willing to commute to the Baltimore, Maryland area.
  • Digital evangelist, passionate about web, social, and paid media.
  • Advertising aficionado with hands-on-keyboard experience with DSP, SSP, and OTT.
  • Search engine optimization savant, able to take ownership of SEO projects.
  • Experienced with content management systems and digital platforms like Wordpress, Elementor, Google Analytics, Agency Analytics.
  • Willing to help anywhere needed and not pigeonhole into one digital specialty.
  • Storyteller, capable of converting analytics or other data into compelling, client-facing reporting.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, able to navigate multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Obsessed with staying up-to-date on the latest digital trends.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Agency experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the B2C client space is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Create, launch, oversee, and optimize paid media campaigns on Meta and Google.
  • Develop advertising plans that clearly outline budget allocation, channel utilization, selected markets, target audiences, and other ad variables.
  • Oversee the integration between digital advertising, SEO, and other account deliverables, including social media management, search engine optimization, and content marketing.
  • Run traditional and programmatic digital advertising campaigns, including initiating insertion orders with third parties and placing ads programmatically.
  • Optimize campaigns to maintain performance and communicate recommendations to the relevant account and client teams.
  • Execute search engine optimization tactics across multiple accounts and websites.
  • Deliver weekly ad toplines emails and monthly ad reports that illustrate key performance indicators and outline a compelling story.
  • Manage multiple clients’ content editorial calendars and ensure content is being developed, converted to web, and published on time.
  • Participate on client calls and provide campaign updates and other account-relevant contributions.
  • Build and maintain ad and other digital vendor relationships, including maintaining contacts with Meta and Google.
  • Contribute to other deliverables and firm responsibilities, including business development, process improvement, and project management.
