About The Position

WDAF-TV FOX4, the Nexstar Media Group station serving the Kansas City market, is seeking an experienced and driven Digital Strategic Account Manager to join their high-performing sales team. This role involves partnering with clients to develop customized digital marketing strategies using FOX4's digital advertising solutions. The position is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, strategic sales, and helping businesses grow through innovative advertising solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, media sales, or digital advertising solutions preferred
  • Understanding of digital advertising products including SEO, SEM, social media, programmatic, OTT/CTV, display, video, and analytics
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager preferred
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to develop new business and grow client relationships
  • Comfortable making in-person sales calls and engaging with business decision-makers
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments
  • Passion for innovation, creativity, and delivering results

Responsibilities

  • Develop and present strategic digital marketing recommendations tailored to client objectives and KPIs
  • Build new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship-building, and cold calling
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and leadership to create integrated advertising campaigns across digital platforms
  • Utilize Nexstar’s proprietary tools and resources to build compelling proposals and presentations
  • Execute and oversee campaigns from launch through optimization and reporting
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights and recommendations
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital best practices
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction
  • Deliver creative, data-driven marketing solutions that help clients grow their business and exceed expectations
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented team culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/leadership
