About The Position

BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a motivated Digital Solutions Intern to support both our public-facing website and internal digital solutions. This position will assist with maintaining and enhancing our WordPress website, supporting Microsoft Power BI reporting and dashboards, and helping develop and maintain Microsoft Power Apps and Power Apps Portals that improve business processes and operational efficiency. The intern will gain hands-on experience across web technologies, business intelligence, and low-code application development while working alongside experienced IT professionals.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must provide proof of U.S. citizenship (such as a U.S. passport, birth certificate, or Certificate of Naturalization) prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure the stability and performance of our public website built on WordPress and Elementor.
• Perform regular backups and apply necessary updates to keep the site secure and functional.
• Manage DNS configurations, including updating DNS names after domain migrations, ensuring that the DNS name on the single domain matches the DNS name displayed on the public website.
• Implement theme and plugin updates, troubleshoot compatibility issues, and optimize site performance.
• Monitor for issues and implement fixes promptly to minimize downtime.
• Assist with internal app development leveraging Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI to create dashboards and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
• Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal business applications using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Apps Portals.
• Support the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business users and IT staff to identify opportunities for process improvement through digital solutions.
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and documenting Power Platform solutions and website enhancements.
