About The Position

This position is part of a core team that is focused on on-line Digital Shopping, and is fundamental to its success and growth. This position works with multiple areas of the company to plan, develop, implement and support customer marketing solutions, campaigns and business initiatives. They will develop and drive robust marketing strategies, capabilities and programs that increase customer retention, acquisition and engagement for our Digital Shopping program. This position will serve as a project leader and subject matter expert, using their industry knowledge to provide innovative solutions for Meijer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s required
  • 5+ years of experience in designing & developing marketing campaigns and business solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience in eCommerce or Digital marketing.
  • Applied knowledge of Customer Marketing.
  • Proven understanding of critical success factors & KPI’s for marketing.
  • Fast learner and high performer with a proactive nature and thrives in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to operate independently without bypassing partner collaboration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Able to present effectively to all levels of leadership.
  • Strategic thinker.
  • Advanced Excel Abilities, highly proficient in math.
  • Business orientation to drive traffic and profits.

Responsibilities

  • Project and thought leadership in the design, development and implementation of Meijer marketing campaigns and business solutions for Digital Shopping. This will include leadership through all program phases; design, financial modeling, developments, piloting and scale-up.
  • Actively participates in the strategic positioning of digital shopping and other digital programs, ensuring they meet key business requirements and are consistent with overall Meijer strategic direction.
  • Communicates with a wide variety of people at every level of the company to facilitate marketing plan creation, knowledge transfer and program execution.
  • Champions new ideas and concepts to create a simple, personalized and truly engaging digital shopping experience for our customer.
  • The ability to deliver multiple projects successfully through their own initiative and experience, while engaging leadership and project partners at appropriate touch-points.
  • Coordinates internal and external communications on current initiatives, milestones and roadmaps.
  • Actively collaborates with technical IT teams to provide technical/system requirements, data structures and platform testing which support objectives and capabilities.
  • Reports the results by activity type, store, market and level of effectiveness, as appropriate.
  • The ability to mentor and coach others within the team relative to current activities and objectives.
  • Ability to serve as stand-in for Manager in their absence.
  • Builds strong relationships in our Omni-channel environment.
