About The Position

This is a full time (40 hours/week), 14-week hybrid summer internship that will occur during one of the below time frames: May 3 - August 13, 2027 or May 10 - August 20, 2027. Open to hiring candidates that reside anywhere near our three primary regions: West (Grand Rapids), East (Southfield), South (St. Joseph). Performs support tasks for department, as directed, and maintains clear and appropriate documentation. Acts as a team member and assists the team in improving processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability.
• May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and reviewing security alerts
• Researching emerging cyber threats, assisting with incident investigations
• Documenting procedures and findings, analyzing trends and reports
• Helping test security processes
• Participating in team meetings and training sessions
• Creating dashboards and metrics
• Supporting automation and process improvement efforts
• Collaborating with teams across the organization on security-related initiatives
