Digital Services Enterprise Architecture Internship Summer 2027
About The Position
The Enterprise Architecture (EA) Intern will work closely with Corewell Health's Enterprise Architecture team to support strategic technology planning, architecture documentation, application portfolio management, and technology analysis initiatives. This role provides exposure to enterprise-scale healthcare technology environments and offers hands-on experience in how business strategy, applications, data, infrastructure, security, and digital transformation efforts are aligned across a large healthcare system. The intern will assist Enterprise Architects in documenting current-state technology environments, researching emerging technologies, analyzing application portfolios, creating architecture artifacts, and supporting strategic planning activities. This position is ideal for students interested in Enterprise Architecture, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability.
- May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.

Responsibilities
- Maintains accountability for completing support tasks as directed.
- Maintains clear and appropriate documentation of actions taken.
- May analyze department processes and other Corewell Health systems encountered and makes recommendations improvements, as appropriate.
- Participates in quality monitoring activities/process improvement activities.
- Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player with others in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
