About The Position

The Global Data, Digital & AI (GDDA) organization is central to Roche Pharma Commercial’s digital and AI ecosystem. GDDA defines the enterprise digital strategy, translates commercial objectives into investments, and establishes standards and operating models for scalable execution. The Digital Program Lead - Pharma Commercial (PACE) is a critical role within GDDA's Digital Global Programs and Products function. This role ensures that PACE digital program needs are translated into actionable requirements across digital product suites. Operating at the intersection of program management, product coordination, and enterprise orchestration, this role connects strategy, portfolio, standards, programs, and products to deliver scalable, enterprise solutions that improve outcomes for patients, healthcare providers, and the healthcare ecosystem. The role ensures PACE-driven digital priorities are integrated into GDDA's product planning and delivery rhythm and will expand to support additional cross-cutting programs and initiatives within Pharma Commercial.

Requirements

  • Experience managing cross-program dependencies and shared resource allocation across complex, matrixed delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to synthesize program-level data into clear, actionable portfolio insights for senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders without direct authority — driving alignment, resolving conflicts, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Familiarity with digital product development lifecycles, agile delivery practices, and portfolio governance frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills — can translate complex cross-program dynamics into clear status updates and escalation recommendations.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or equivalent experience in a program management or product operations context.
  • Prior experience in a pharma or large-scale tech company in a role focused on cross-program coordination, PMO operations, or digital product delivery.

  • Translate program priorities into clear, actionable product and delivery requirements across GDDA product suites.
  • Reinforce alignment between program milestones and product roadmaps, enabling resolution where misalignment exists.
  • Ensure that PACE-related decisions and requirements are communicated clearly to program leads and integrated into cross-suite planning and governance processes.
  • Orchestrate cross-cutting initiatives across product suites and digital programs, ensuring alignment, sequencing, and integration.
  • Surface and enable resolution of cross-suite dependencies, sequencing conflicts, and resource constraints across product, program, and delivery teams.
  • Provide a consolidated PACE digital view (status, dependencies, risks, capacity) to inform product and portfolio decision-making.
  • Orchestrate planning and execution rhythms — ensuring consistent connection and alignment across program, product, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Shape and manage global program roadmaps, partnering with RDT to align shared delivery capacity and surface trade-offs.
  • Enable coordinated digital delivery for priority Pharma Commercial programs, ensuring program milestones are integrated into delivery plans.
  • Drive execution readiness for key program milestones, ensuring solutions meet program needs, are scalable, integrated, and ready for activation.
