About The Position

Banesco USA is seeking a Digital Products & Channels Manager for our Product Management business unit. This role is responsible for driving strategies and long-term vision to build, enhance, and promote best-in-class digital products and channels. The manager will guide the marketing team in executing all communications and marketing assets, conduct user research and usability studies, and create a product vision. They will spearhead market research, partner with business owners to build roadmaps and customer journeys, and develop business cases. The role involves overseeing digital product and channels marketing efforts, managing product projects from discovery to implementation, and identifying key capabilities and potential issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for alignment on feature development and prioritization. The manager will develop product marketing initiatives, monitor product performance, and manage digital products, services, and channels. Responsibilities also include developing product descriptions, guides, marketing tasks, providing training, and managing product key performance indicators, trend analysis, and pricing. Staying informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences is crucial. The role requires accountability for risk, open communication, and adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Product Manager in Digital products and/or channels, or similar role in the banking or financial services industry, demonstrating success taking an idea from concept to a fully launched solution.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
  • Passion for getting great products to market
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-changing environment
  • Strong consultative and well-articulated communication and writing skills, with the ability to interact with and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Identifies new opportunities by creating bonds of trust with team members
  • Understanding of business processes related to digital products and channels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work through complex concepts/data and present simple solutions
  • Ability to have fun and a willingness to try new things and challenge the teams
  • Ability to self-motivate and work well independently and with different teams. A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Product marketing experience
  • Project management skills-experience
  • Experience with data aggregation and analytics, including SQL queries
  • Knowledge of SQL; experience with Q2 and CoreIQ is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategies and long-term vision to build, enhance, and promote best-in-class digital products and channels and guiding the marketing team in executing all communications and marketing assets
  • Conduct user research and usability studies in collaboration with IT, vendors, and other teams
  • Create a product vision (short-and long- term) and convert it into a concrete strategy
  • Spearhead market research and analysis to identify opportunities for new or existing features and functionalities
  • Partner with business owners and other areas to build roadmaps and customer journeys, and apply them as the gatekeeper of digital tools
  • Develop and implement pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data into an information product
  • Develop business cases and impact analysis in collaboration with the different areas of the organization
  • Oversee all digital product and channels marketing efforts
  • Partner with Treasury Management and other teams to manage roadmaps for all digital products and channels
  • Oversee and actively participate in product projects, requirements discovery, solution design, development, and implementation, user personas, and user acceptance testing
  • Identify key capabilities needed and potential issues
  • Partner regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
  • Develop product marketing initiatives for positioning, messaging, and differentiation from competitors
  • Monitor and evaluate product performance for continuous improvement
  • Manage digital products, services and channels, and executing marketing strategies and tactics
  • Develop product descriptions, product guides, marketing tasks, and provide training to sales teams
  • Manage product key performance indicators, trend analysis, and product pricing
  • Conduct market research and analysis, stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences
  • Understand and stay current in the industry’s product and technology landscape, bringing new ideas to the team
  • Responsible for accountability for risk, openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and adhering to policies and procedures.
