About The Position

Prospr is Sun Life's digital front door for Canadians, aiming to revolutionize how Canadians access insurance and wealth solutions by building a platform that allows online purchases in minutes or virtual assistance from licensed Advisors. The company is leveraging AI and creating omnichannel experiences to meet modern customer expectations. The Digital Product Manager will own the end-to-end product lifecycle, strategy, execution, and commercial impact for their product domain. This includes setting the product vision, defining KPIs, and enabling engineering and design squads to deliver innovative experiences. The role requires operating with startup velocity and accountability while navigating enterprise systems and stakeholders, challenging the status quo, and fostering a product-led culture to compete with InsurTech rivals.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional digital product management experience, with specific expertise in direct-to-consumer (D2C) solutions.
  • Demonstrated success owning end-to-end product lifecycles (ideation to planning to build to launch to optimization) with measurable business growth.
  • Strong technical and UX breadth: Ability to partner deeply with engineering on complex integrations and with design on seamless user journeys.
  • Experience running an agile product cadence: Prioritization, roadmap planning, dependency mapping, and user testing.
  • Data fluency: Proven ability to translate business goals into actionable product KPIs, tracking metrics to drive continuous improvements.
  • Stakeholder management: Experience partnering with senior leadership to navigate risk, legal/compliance, and timelines in a complex environment.
  • Product manager from product-driven companies—tech startups, scale-ups, or high-velocity digital product orgs.
  • Strategic but execution-focused—you set direction, empower teams, and stay close to delivery using data to drive decisions.
  • Strong collaborator—you build a strong culture, develop shared understanding, and hold high quality standards.
  • Understands complex architectures, can navigate AI/technical constraints, and effectively challenges engineering trade-offs.
  • Comfortable navigating both startup chaos and enterprise constraints to deliver results.
  • Accountable for commercial and user outcomes, not just shipping features or outputs.
  • Competed against InsurTech/FinTech players and know what it takes to win.
