About The Position

At PNC, the Digital Product Manager Lead Senior within PNC's Digital Retail organization is responsible for leading efforts to create a world-class, digital application experience for customers, with a focus on Consumer Deposit account opening. This role involves leading an Agile development team and collaborating with various enterprise teams to drive an evolving Digital experience for PNC customers engaging in the Digital Channel. The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, or Philadelphia, PA. PNC operates as an in-office company, fostering a supportive culture. The role drives digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience using design thinking and best practices. It involves monitoring the marketplace for digital experience trends, recommending and prioritizing new digital experiences or enhancements, and driving business case development. The Digital Product Manager Lead Senior develops and designs features for new or existing digital experiences, managing their development, production, roll-out, and promotion. Collaboration with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing, and other internal/external partners is crucial to ensure strategic goals are met. The role also involves partnering with Marketing for product-specific initiatives, potentially participating in client-facing activities, and supporting risk management, compliance, and audit needs as part of the first line of defense. Ultimately, this position drives business, financial, and customer experience results for new and existing products, recommending modifications to improve outcomes. There may be a need to support after-hour releases as necessary. PNC does not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

  • Experience with Content creation and management.
  • Experience with User experience design.
  • Experience with Monitoring and analyzing the success of large-scale digital initiatives.
  • Experience with Working with numerous Agile crews and stakeholders to achieve defined goals.
  • Experience with Digital accessibility and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Experience with Design, development and testing process for websites and mobile apps.
  • Experience with Relationship/client management.
  • Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions (Customer Focused).
  • Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (Managing Risk).
  • University / college degree (Bachelor's).
  • Industry relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

  • Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an Agile development team.

  • Drive digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices.
  • Monitor the marketplace to assess digital experience trends and results in order to recommend new digital experiences or enhancements to existing experiences.
  • Prioritize and decision recommendations.
  • Drive business case development.
  • Develop and design the features of new or existing digital experiences to take advantage of an identified market need or opportunity.
  • Manage the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including Product, Technology, MIS, Line of Business, Marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all digital experiences meet their strategic goals.
  • Partner with Marketing to Develop in product-specific marketing initiatives.
  • May participate in client facing activities.
  • Support risk management, compliance, and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
  • Drive business, financial, and customer experience results of new and existing products and effectively recommend modifications in experiences and/or marketing to improve results.
  • May coordinate and/or coach Product Managers and Associates.
