About The Position

CMC Group, located in Bowling Green, Ohio, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Production Team. The CMC Group facility is clean and temperature-controlled. This position involves printing digital labels, tags, and sleeves on a variety of substrates for a variety of finishing applications.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent GED.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to adjust press settings such as registration, alignment, etc. as required.
Works excellent with peers, Supervisor, and Management.
Ability to work independently without supervision; takes self-initiative to help others.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Goal oriented and accepts new job challenges.
Color separation skills and understanding of color matching.
Ability to accurately record data into ERP, handwritten logs and/or various computer programs.
To remain vigilant for/safeguard against sanitation, pest control and contamination concerns.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and monitor digital press to produce printed materials with high quality standards, minimal scrap, and acceptable productivity levels.
Verification of art files, substrate, colors and job tickets prior to printing each job.
Troubleshoot printing issues on digital press and takes self-initiative to solve technical issues.
Inform immediate Supervisor and/or Team Lead of key issues daily.
Set a good example for all employees by displaying an excellent work ethic, being a team member, and observing all company policies.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Ensure product integrity by monitoring products for signs of contamination or quality defects and segregating and reporting issues.
Ensure process integrity by promptly reporting potential sources of contamination or impacts to performance or quality.
