About The Position

This is a hands-on role in operating a digital printing press (flatbed) and cutting/routing CAD table in a rapidly growing digital print business. This will include the safe operation and maintenance of equipment necessary to produce printed products in the following categories: boxes, displays, banners, signage, and offline print applications. The candidate needs to have experience operating production-related equipment, be proactive, dedicated, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a multi-talented group that includes research, industrial and graphic design, and brand strategy experts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 0-2 years of experience in a digital print or manufacturing environment required
  • Ability to work safely around hazardous chemicals
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and strong time management
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration
  • Must be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota
  • Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with digital printing in a high-volume setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor single-pass and multi-pass digital printing equipment, including flatbed printers, to produce high-quality printed corrugated products in alignment with job specifications and production schedules.
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust digital press settings, including color management, print alignment, and material handling systems, to ensure optimal print performance and consistency.
  • Interpret work orders, production tickets, and design files to ensure accurate execution of customer requirements across boxes, displays, signage, banners, and specialty print applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of digital printing and finishing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Inspect printed and finished products throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards, color accuracy, and structural integrity.
  • Maintain workflow efficiency by adhering to the production schedule, managing material usage, and coordinating with team members to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurately record production data, machine performance, and job completion details to support reporting, traceability, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment optimization, and waste reduction to enhance overall department performance.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
