Digital Press Operators / Lead - 2nd Shift
About The Position
KDM is hiring experienced Digital Press Operators and Lead Operators for its second-shift production team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing digital printing equipment used to produce retail graphics, point-of-purchase displays, signage, banners, decals, and other marketing materials. The schedule is 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and pay starts at $24.00 per hour, based on experience. Stay bonuses of up to $2,500 are offered, with the amount depending on operator specialization. KDM is a full-service print and POP display manufacturer serving nationally recognized brands and retailers. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience operating digital press, print production, or manufacturing equipment.
- Experience in printing, graphics, signage, POP displays, or manufacturing.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work second shift, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Inca, EFI VUTEk, or similar digital presses.
- Lead Operator, Trainer, or Team Lead experience.
- Quality control and color management experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate digital presses to produce graphics, signage, banners, and POP displays.
- Set up equipment and perform preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor print quality and color consistency.
- Support efficient production flow and on-time job completion.
- Complete work orders and production records accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with training and supporting team members as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and productivity.
