DIGITAL PRESS OPERATOR - TIER 3
About The Position
The Digital Press Operator Tier 3 runs any one of the digital presses, including the Ricoh press, HP presses, and the Amiga 52 laminator. In this role, you will interpret print production work-orders to determine the steps needed to produce a wide variety of printing projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently and help deliver the highest quality print products and materials. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital printing.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency on Ricoh and/or HP Presses
- Advanced color calibration and press profiling
- Advanced mechanical troubleshooting
- May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Independently operate multiple digital press, which includes the Ricoh presses, HP press, and Amiga laminator.
- Operate and maintain laser etching/engraving equipment in accordance with job specifications and safety standards.
- Prepare digital files for laser etching, ensuring proper formatting, resolution, and alignment with substrate requirements.
- Perform regular cleaning, calibration, and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Perform routine maintenance
- Assists in training/mentoring Tier 1 and 2 operators
- Review and interpret production work orders.
- Communicate with other departments and staff members to gather any additional information needed to complete the job.
- Troubleshoot advanced-level problems and take corrective action, make repairs, and notify supervisors.
- Communicate information to other shift operators.
- Identifies and recommends process improvements
- Work with safety in mind at all times and report any potential unsafe circumstances.
- Is open and willing to work in other departments if requested.
- Does other duties as assigned.
