About The Position

Single Grain is seeking a Digital PR Manager to secure placements in business, AI, and marketing publications. The ideal candidate will leverage existing relationships with these outlets to achieve 20-30+ placements per month. This role is not for individuals looking to learn digital PR from scratch. Single Grain operates as an AI-native team, integrating AI to enhance efficiency and quality, while maintaining human oversight for brand accuracy and journalistic relationships. The mission is to activate an existing media graph through a repeatable, AI-assisted pitching system that preserves publication quality and relationships. The primary Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is the monthly placement count in approved publication tiers.

Requirements

• Existing relationships with business, AI, and/or marketing publications.
• Two recent placements with links and your exact ownership.
• One quantified monthly or campaign placement result.
• A concrete AI-assisted pitching workflow with QA and clear delineation of human responsibilities.
• Demonstrated judgment on publication tiering (not spray-and-pray).

Responsibilities

• Activate and expand a warm list of business, AI, and marketing publications and journalists.
• Package founder and client stories into pitchable angles with evidence, quotes, and assets.
• Conduct personalized outreach at volume without resorting to spam, tracking opens, replies, and placement conversion.
• Utilize AI for research, drafting, personalization, and follow-up, ensuring human ownership of voice, facts, and relationships.
• Coordinate with SEO/AEO, content, and client teams to ensure placements support organic and answer-engine goals.
• Report weekly on pitches sent, reply rate, placements landed, publication tier mix, and blockers.
• Document the system to enable another operator to run and improve it.
