About The Position

The Digital Media Producer brings the Snowshoe Mountain brand and guest experience to life through compelling photo and video content. The role produces, manages, and distributes digital media supporting marketing campaigns, guest communications, public relations, partnerships, resort operations, and business-unit initiatives. It also oversees year-round content strategy for guest-facing digital channels, including on-mountain digital signage and in-room television. The position calls for an organized visual storyteller who can balance planned productions with timely, weather-dependent opportunities in a fast-paced mountain environment.

This is a year-round position located at 10 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe, WV 26209. Affordable on-mountain employee housing is available for rent. The schedule may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work involves changing weather and terrain, as well as office-based tasks.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience producing and editing professional photo and video content, shown through a portfolio or production reel.
• Proficiency with video- and photo-editing tools, preferably Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, audio, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Understanding of digital marketing, brand consistency, audience needs, and channel-specific content requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in file management, scheduling, and project follow-through.
• Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to take ownership of projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in changing weather conditions, including cold, snow, rain, heat, and wind.
• Ability to walk or hike over uneven or challenging terrain while carrying production equipment, as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or otherwise move and position at least 20 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer and common office equipment on a constant basis.
• Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices, and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
• Ability to sit, bend, reach, and speak for extended periods on a constant basis, and to stand, walk, kneel, push, and pull for extended periods on an occasional basis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience producing content for an outdoor, sports, travel, hospitality, or resort brand.
• Experience capturing skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, events, or other fast-moving activities.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Drone production experience and current FAA Part 107 certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce, edit, and distribute photo and video content across digital, social, advertising, public relations, and guest-facing channels.
• Capture and create content showcasing seasonal conditions, events, amenities, guest experiences, and mountain activities.
• Develop short-form and platform-specific content optimized for multiple channels and formats.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute photo and video shoots, including managing talent and logistics.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support resort initiatives and business objectives.
• Maintain brand consistency across visual and editorial content.
• Manage year-round content programming for digital signage, Snowshoe TV, and other guest-facing media channels.
• Support public relations and partnership needs with high-quality visual assets and organized media libraries.
• Operate, maintain, and manage production equipment, digital assets, archives, and production workflows.
