We are now going to the market under one bold new brand, Echo Electric.    We are looking for an energetic individual to join our Corporate Marketing team and help us be the Midwest Omnichannel Leader in Electric Distribution! This role supports our customer-facing digital platforms including website, mobile app, and the value-added Digital Job Center. Additionally, this role supports growing competencies and enhanced training with our internal sales teams as they continue to align the customers business needs to efficiency tools. This position will report to the Vice-President of Marketing and Digital Strategies.    Work Location: This position can report from Davenport, IA, Ankeny, IA, Des Moines, IA or Iowa City, IA. This role will cover the Central IL, Northern IL and Iowa regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field, 2 or more years in Marketing or customer-facing sales experience, 1 or more years in event management or training experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 85% of the time.
  • Proven track record in sales in a commission-based role.
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership of sales cycle from product ground to closing the sale.
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Wrike, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.
  • Creativity and ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information.
  • Process basic technical expertise to communication with marketing, digital, and development teams.
  • Deep knowledge and training of web platforms and Eclipse functions/areas that support digital integrations/customer profile setup.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the functionality and continually evolve/maintain the knowledge of all digital support platforms/solutions including but not limited to websites, apps, estimating software integrations, accounting QuickBooks integrations, EDI, and custom integration options.
  • Support and continually evolve digital roadmap for website and other platforms by providing continual customer feedback for improvements.
  • Resolve digital products or service problems by clarifying customer feedback/complaints determining root cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution, expedite correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Serve as backup to the Digital Operations Specialist.
  • Provide monthly updates and reporting on status of target account roadmap and adoption.
  • Responsible for internal sales/branch training in Echo Electric digital platforms.
  • Support documentation library recorded or live web trainings, in-person one-one-one trainings, and other options with a goal to increase competencies for all internal associates.
  • Onboard new associates based on position and in coordination with the branch supervisor or Corporate training initiatives.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer business systems, potential customer journey/unique processes, and align Echo Electric digital solutions to their business systems.
  • Support customer use digital solutions to become more efficient in their day-to-day activities by understanding and articulating the potential ROI to the customer.
  • Use data and branch sales teams account knowledge to identify target accounts for potential digital adoption. Provide ongoing follow-up and feedback through the customer adoption journey.
  • Provide feedback and support to digital marketing solutions including customer opportunities and potential campaign suggestions by customer segment.
  • Work alongside Marketing and Digital teams to continue to evolve content, solutions, and services that align with branch initiatives.
