About The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist keeps our digital marketing stack running smoothly by owning Level 1 support, user access, integrations, data hygiene, reporting cadence, and vendor/platform administration across social, web, and marketing automation tools. This role also triages and resolves tickets, coordinates change requests, and partners with Marketing, IT, and vendors to ensure reliable, compliant, and measurable digital programs.

Requirements

  • Associate’s in Marketing, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent hands-on experience will be considered; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 2 years in digital marketing operations or MarTech administration in a B2B environment.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with some of the following: Zendesk, Salesforce/Pardot, Zapier, Yext, MetaLocator, Bazaarvoice, Social listening tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across web tags, forms, and integrations; familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and data mapping.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript for tag and landing page QA.
  • Experience with list management, segmentation, and deliverability best practices in marketing automation.
  • Knowledge of GDPR/CCPA, CAN-SPAM, cookie consent, and role-based access controls.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management; comfort operating in ticketing and Agile environments.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple systems and priorities; proactive in identifying and resolving operational risk.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, or Google Ads Measurement, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own Zendesk ticket queue for Digital Marketing; provide Level 1 triage, troubleshooting, and timely resolution; escalate to IT/vendors as needed.
  • Support and maintain the My Alliance portal
  • Coordinate digital platform updates, change requests, and release notes; perform QA/UAT and document outcomes.
  • Maintain user provisioning, permissions, and SSO/role-based access across platforms.
  • Manage access, integrations, and day-to-day troubleshooting for internal digital programs.
  • Build, test, and monitor webhooks, tags, and data layer events; maintain UTM standards and tracking taxonomy.
  • Maintain social media platform access and settings; coordinate with brand/channel owners.
  • Manage social listening tools; respond to social media inquiries.
  • Audit list management; improve segmentation, duplication handling, and governance.
  • Audit and maintain marketing automation dashboards and operational reports.
  • Support learning projects; assist with documentation and light configuration as needed.
  • Build and run weekly and monthly reports/dashboards to monitor integrity and lead weekly de-duplication efforts.
  • Produce monthly operational reports.
  • Track monthly expenses and forecast usage/costs for owned tools; identify optimization and consolidation opportunities.
