About The Position

Altimate AI is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join their Series A startup team. This role reports directly to the head of marketing and will be responsible for executing the marketing team's strategy through systems, channels, publishing cadence, and reporting. The position is hands-on, covering marketing automation, email, blog publishing, social media, events, and reporting. Immediate priorities include search/answer-engine visibility and email outreach/deliverability. The scope of the role can expand based on the candidate's skills and interests. As an AI-native company, the expectation is to leverage AI tools and automations to scale output. The company is distributed across India (mainly Bangalore) and the US, with a culture of short deadlines, adaptability, and making decisions with incomplete information.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a preference for 6 years.
  • Significant experience in startups or small, multi-channel marketing teams.
  • Hands-on ownership and configuration of marketing automation tools (not just using them).
  • Experience with email marketing infrastructure, including selecting/implementing an ESP, migrating contact databases, building compliant opt-in flows, and diagnosing deliverability issues.
  • Experience with technical SEO, including schema, site architecture, crawl and index health, and a current perspective on AEO.
  • Self-sufficiency in tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, and Ahrefs/Semrush/OpenSEO or equivalents.
  • Practical fluency with agentic AI tools, including built and run workflows and automations.
  • Demonstrated operational reliability for recurring tasks that must be done on schedule and correctly.
  • Ambition and judgment to potentially lead a small team as the company scales.

Nice To Haves

  • Paid acquisition experience (Google, LinkedIn, retargeting).
  • Experience marketing to technical or developer audiences, or within the data ecosystem.
  • Comfort with a git-based publishing flow (markdown, pull requests).
  • Light editing of technical content written by others.
  • Experience briefing and managing external agencies or contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing systems and automation, with a focus on HubSpot as the system of record (segments, properties, workflows, forms, campaign tracking, integrations).
  • Drive search and answer-engine visibility (AEO/SEO) through on-site and off-site efforts, including technical SEO, on-page optimization, structured data, site architecture, internal linking, backlinks, listings, and optimization for AI answer engines.
  • Manage email and newsletter operations, including subscription lists, opt-in processes, building, scheduling, and sending newsletters, list hygiene, segmentation, and deliverability.
  • Oversee blog publishing and distribution, ensuring content goes live and building exposure through syndication, communities, newsletters, and cross-posting.
  • Manage social media channels daily, repurposing content, identifying valuable channels, and growing reach.
  • Track and analyze data from various sources (GA4, PostHog, Google Search Console, HubSpot, OpenSEO) and act on insights.
  • Manage digital events (webinars, online events) end-to-end, including platform, registration, promotion, reminders, follow-up, and reporting.
  • Coordinate logistics for in-person events in North America and Europe, including venue and vendor bookings, shipping, schedules, promotion, lead capture, and follow-up. Assist with promotion for occasional events in India.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to shape the role based on skills and interests.
  • Potential to grow into a leadership position.
