The purpose of this position is to learn through immersion within the Search Optimization and Digital Content team. The intern will support content creation and optimization efforts throughout the summer, closing with a final presentation to the Executive Leadership Team. This is an opportunity to build foundational digital marketing and content skills while contributing to real campaigns and evergreen content initiatives. This role is a strong step toward a long-term career in marketing, content strategy, or communications.

Requirements

  • Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Marketing or Business from an accredited university
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office usage skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects
  • Minimum GPA of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale desired
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and unrestricted basis.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and formatting digital content (web and email) based on project briefs from divisional go-to-market team
  • Perform Keyword research and targeting opportunities to update paid media campaign
  • Assist the Search team in checking copy and page structure against SEO best practice
  • Support content entry and basic authoring tasks under guidance from the content team
  • Perform SEO audit and provide recommendations on new content to drive traffic to the site
  • Present findings and project work to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Other duties as assigned
