About The Position

Ivy Tech Community College seeks a creative, technologically savvy student to support the College’s creative services team at Systems Office in Indianapolis. The intern will aid the team in marketing Ivy Tech’s message through social platforms. An internship on Ivy Tech’s marketing team is an opportunity for students interested in learning more about communication- and marketing-related careers. Students majoring in or studying journalism, digital media, graphic design, public relations, marketing, communication, visual communication or arts, multimedia, and English are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need
Currently enrolled as degree-seeking Ivy Tech Community College student
Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status

Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Sprout Social (preferred)
Salesforce Social Studio (preferred)
General knowledge of Adobe Suite, Web CMS, and project management is a plus

Responsibilities

Manages the College’s social media accounts and posts content
Brainstorms campaign ideas
Fulfills one-off requests from both Systems and campus teams
Keep detailed notes in social media campaign calendar pertaining to what is deployed, when, and to which platform
Organizes analytics in an easy-to-read and decipherable format
Comprehends the overall concept of Ivy Tech, including the brand, customer, product, and student experience goals
