About The Position

Plugable's mission is to build a better device company, creating products that enhance laptop potential such as docking stations, hubs, cables, local AI devices, portable monitors, and charging solutions. As the #1 docking station brand in North America, Plugable has earned its reputation through technical expertise and reliable hardware. The company is now investing in its marketing engine and seeking a Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to drive this growth. This role offers significant ownership over key marketing channels and works closely with the VP of Marketing and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience owning digital marketing channels, not just assisting.
  • Strategic content creation skills, with an understanding of audiences, formats, and narratives.
  • Comfort with email marketing, including list building, segmentation, and campaign planning.
  • Understanding of social media platforms, native content creation, and audience building.
  • Proficiency in using data and AI-assisted workflows for decision-making and iteration.
  • Genuine interest in technology, new device launches, industry announcements, and work trends.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow Plugable's presence across social media platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit.
  • Develop platform-native content tailored for each social media channel.
  • Build authentic engagement and community where customers are active.
  • Own the email marketing program, including campaigns, automated flows, list health, and segmentation.
  • Grow the subscriber list through cross-channel acquisition and on-site tools.
  • Build and nurture a growing audience of prosumers, IT administrators, and business buyers.
  • Coordinate B2B outreach sequences in partnership with Sales Operations.
  • Translate technical product specifications into engaging content.
  • Manage video distribution across YouTube, Shorts, and social media, monitoring performance and providing insights.
  • Support the Shopify storefront by updating landing pages and on-site promotional elements.
  • Lead cross-channel activation for new product launches, coordinating email, social, video, and community efforts.
  • Repurpose content into various formats such as short-form clips, email features, social posts, and community threads.
