About The Position

The Chicago Bulls are seeking an analytical, organized, curious, self-starter to fill our Digital Marketing Associate position for the 2026-27 season. The Digital Marketing Associate will assist and own various paid social (e.g., Instagram ads), email, text, website, and mobile app marketing activities that are critical to driving revenue and fan engagement for the Chicago Bulls. This role will participate in the Bulls Rookie Program and is scheduled to start in September 2026 and continue until the conclusion of the 26-27 season.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate education with a focus on Marketing, Advertising, Business, or similar field
  • Interest in learning digital marketing best practices in a fast-paced, hands-on setting
  • Strong spreadsheet (e.g., Microsoft Excel) skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Understanding of social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and content trends
  • Direct experience with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager
  • Creative and strategic thinking with the ability to generate fresh ideas
  • Self-starter comfortable taking ownership of tasks
  • Team-first mentality who will contribute to our positive culture
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once while working in a highly collaborative workplace
  • NBA / Sports fandom

Responsibilities

  • Building fan-facing email, SMS and paid social media campaigns across a variety of initiatives, including gameday communications, youth basketball programming, ticket sales, special events, etc.
  • Tracking and reporting on paid media performance metrics across key advertising platforms like Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.
  • Leading monthly billing and spend reports for paid advertising campaigns and other digital marketing expenditures.
  • Conceptualizing and requesting creative assets (graphics, videos, etc.) and writing copy for digital ads, emails, and texts.
  • Assisting with on-site and gameday-related marketing initiatives and promotional activations as needed.
