Digital Maintenance Technician - MGM Grand
About The Position
As a Digital Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting the technical operations of our innovative live streaming studio. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and overall performance of all technical equipment within the studio environment. You’ll work hands-on with video streaming equipment, network communication systems used to stream live games, and general IT infrastructure to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Your work will directly support a seamless, high-quality experience for our global audience.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- 1+ years of experience in Audio/Visual, Network communication installation, and maintenance required
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for all equipment used for the live streaming studio, including video streaming, data collection, and network communication systems
- Responsible for installation and continued maintenance of video streaming equipment, such as video cameras, a/v cards, and associated cable management, to ensure live streaming product meets department and regulatory standards
- Monitor live streaming service and related information systems to identify issues for immediate resolution
- Provide updates to Studio management on work performed, and potential future issues for preventative maintenance
- Monitor content delivery network (CDN) server connections to diagnose and solve issues, perform routine preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime
- Provide day-to-day technical support for department IT-related issues, administer department computers, laptops, and other hardware as-needed
