This is a full-time ACC AmeriCorps position with the Seattle Housing Authority. The American Connection Corps (ACC), an AmeriCorps program of Lead For America (LFA), is a service fellowship program aimed at helping communities build the digital connectivity necessary to expand opportunity and economic mobility, ranging from healthcare access to quality employment. ACC Members spend a year serving with locally-rooted organizations, helping address the digital divide and strengthen access to opportunity. Through their service, they gain hands-on experience, build in-demand skills, and explore career pathways while making a tangible impact in their communities. The mission of the Seattle Housing Authority is to enhance the Seattle community by creating and sustaining decent, safe and affordable living environments that foster stability and self-sufficiency for people with low incomes. The AmeriCorps Digital Learning Assistant supports digital access and learning in low‑income housing communities. This role ensures computer labs are welcoming, functional, and well‑maintained while helping residents build confidence with technology. The position also strengthens community engagement by recruiting and training resident volunteers, supporting digital navigation needs, and maintaining essential technology systems such as mobile lab checkout apps. All activities will be performed under the guidance and supervision of program staff.
