About The Position

Aon is seeking a Digital Infrastructure Power Leader to build and lead our market strategy at the intersection of digital infrastructure, power, risk, and capital. This role will serve as Aon's primary subject matter expert helping data center developers, hyperscalers, colocation operators, utilities, power producers, infrastructure investors, and lenders navigate the rapidly evolving challenges driving AI-powered infrastructure growth. The leader will advise clients on power availability, energy resilience, renewable integration, project finance, risk transfer, and capital solutions while expanding Aon's presence in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the market. This position will be responsible for developing new client relationships, creating innovative solutions, driving revenue growth, and positioning Aon as the leading advisor at the convergence of digital infrastructure and energy. This is an opportunity to build and shape a new growth platform for Aon at the convergence of AI, digital infrastructure, energy, and capital. You'll influence major investment decisions, create market-leading solutions, and become a recognized leader in one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Power generation or utilities, Energy infrastructure, Data center development, Infrastructure investing, Energy consulting, Insurance and risk advisory, Project finance.
  • Solid understanding of: Data center infrastructure and operations, Power markets and grid reliability, Energy project development, Infrastructure finance and capital solutions, Risk transfer and insurance structures, Emerging energy technologies, AI-driven power demand trends.
  • Entrepreneurial builder with a growth mindset
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills
  • Strategic and commercially driven
  • Proven business development success
  • Collaborative leader able to work across complex stakeholder groups

Responsibilities

  • Build and implement Aon's Digital Infrastructure Power strategy across the U.S.
  • Develop executive relationships with data center operators, developers, utilities, investors, lenders, and infrastructure funds.
  • Build a sustainable pipeline of advisory, analytics, capital, and risk transfer opportunities.
  • Establish Aon as a recognized thought leader in power and digital infrastructure.
  • Provide strategic guidance on data center energy and power strategies, grid constraints, reliability, and interconnection risk, onsite generation, renewable integration, and battery storage, power purchase agreements and energy procurement, project financing, bankability, and investment risk, business interruption, resilience, and outage risk.
  • Partner across Aon's Power & Renewables, Digital Infrastructure, Construction, Property, Cyber, Risk Consulting, Capital Advisory, and Analytics teams to deliver integrated solutions that connect power, resilience, risk, and capital decision-making.
