This role will be based in our Miami office, on an in-office basis. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. This role reports to Josh Forman, Shareholder. The Corporate Intern will support attorneys within the Corporate Department. This role is responsible for assisting with research, drafting and document review for the Digital Infrastructure practice.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of general office experience in a professional services setting preferred
  • Proficiency with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with digital document management systems (e.g., FileSite) preferred
  • Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assists attorneys with drafting, editing, and proofreading corporate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence
  • Conducts basic legal and factual research under attorney supervision
  • Organizes, maintains, and updates physical and electronic case files, corporate records, and transaction documents
  • Supports due diligence processes by collecting, reviewing, and organizing required materials
  • Prepares and manages document sets for corporate transactions, closings, and filings
  • Coordinates with internal departments and external parties to obtain information or schedule meetings
  • Manages and tracks deadlines, filing requirements, and internal workflows
  • Performs general administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, data entry, and mail distribution
