About The Position

We are seeking a Digital Engineering Systems Developer to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Requirements

  • Education & Years of Experience – Associate's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
  • Clearance – To be considered, you MUST have an active or very recently active DOE “Q” Clearance or DoD “Top Secret” Clearance.
  • Proficiency with PTC PLM PDM xBOM products.
  • Understanding of engineering data structures, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), Product structures, CAD metadata and Revision and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with maturation of digital thread between engineering and manufacturing.
  • Experience with engineering CAD/PLM tools development and maturation of requirements.
  • Experience with validation and testing of CAD/PLM tool functionality.
  • Experience with the Install and support PTC PLM PDM products.
  • Experience with integration of PLM PDM products.
  • Understand the design process and develop workflows and best practices.
  • Experience customizing PLM PDM software to fit specific organizational needs through scripting or programming.
  • Experience customizing interfaces and functionalities to enhance user experience and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

  • Create documentation and revise as appropriate.
  • Provide technical support for PTC PLM PDM xBOM products.
  • Support PLM PDM upgrades.
  • Mature digital thread between engineering and manufacturing.
  • Engineer CAD/PLM tools development and maturation of requirements.
  • Validate and test of CAD/PLM tool functionality.
  • Install and support PTC PLM PDM products.
  • Integrate PLM PDM products.
  • Understand the design process and develop workflows and best practices.
  • Customize PLM PDM software to fit specific organizational needs through scripting or programming.
  • Customize interfaces and functionalities to enhance user experience and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Attend meetings.
