Taking place in schools and rooted in Scholastic’s greater mission to use the power of books for the betterment of all kids, Fairs bring entire communities together. We bring “the best school day of the year” to kids in 110,000 unique in-school pop-ups that irresistibly defy expectations of how one must act in a library (running and screaming are welcome responses). We’re here to deliver an experience that inspires kids toward greatness. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with beloved IP (like Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Captain Underpants, Bad Guys) and research, explore and discuss the most exciting trends in culture, kids, and literacy. Under the direction of the Digital Art Director and in collaboration with cross-functional partners, the Digital Designer will be responsible for bringing the Scholastic Book Fairs brand to life through the design of digital collateral. As part of our creative team, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand’s digital presence, ensuring that every touchpoint—whether an email campaign, a landing page, or a promotional asset—speaks to our audience’s needs and sparks curiosity in the next generation of readers.
