We are looking for a Digital Delivery Specialist to join our Digital Consulting team in either Calgary or Vancouver. We are an agile and responsive team of BIM and GIS specialists, data professionals, software developers and digital consultants focused on the built environment. You will also be part of our Information Management network responsible for implementing the latest digital design delivery methods around the world. Mott MacDonald has a proven track record in providing exemplary information management solutions, which have won numerous awards.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years’ experience working on infrastructure delivery projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Physics or related degree.
  • Good communicator with customer engagement experience.
  • Creative thinking and seeking new and more efficient ways to improve systems.
  • Ability to manage own time to achieve goals set with the project team.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: You can apply analytical techniques to present a solution.
  • Communication skills: You have strong verbal and written communication skills and understand how to share insights with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Data management: You understand data sources, data organization and storage.
  • Logical and creative thinking skills: You can approach a problem by applying logic and creativity.
  • Strong Power BI and data analysis skills are required to manage complex data sets and dynamic reports and analysis requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of BIM technologies (ACC, ProjectWise).
  • Working knowledge of Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of BIM methods (ISO19650).

Responsibilities

  • Implementing, managing and improving information delivery on various engineering and infrastructure projects.
  • Assessing the current status of information management, and drive improved ways of working across the division.
  • Shaping digital project delivery using both our internal and emerging tools to drive continuous improvements.
  • Working alongside the project management teams providing insights from project information and supporting the ongoing strategic development of project delivery.
  • Supporting the configuration of various project information management systems and ensure continuous improvement of information management processes and procedures to ensure they remain relevant and effective throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Creating training material and capturing best practice.
  • Specifying a system architecture for a common data environment.
  • Leading information management implementation within projects.
  • Building a strong and open network across the country to break down silos and improve knowledge sharing.
  • Working closely with existing and new projects to elicit information requirements, develop processes and work directly with clients.
  • Developing methods to quantifiably measure improvements as a consequence of information management embedment.
  • Reporting to the digital delivery lead and work closely with other information managers and project managers across the division.
