Digital Data and Analytics Intern
About The Position
Barge Design Solutions is looking for a hard-working and dedicated college student to intern with them next summer. This internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the field of digital data and analytics, while learning from great mentors and leaders. The intern will support data collection, preparation, validation, and analysis across business functions, and assist with the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. The role involves working with business intelligence and data visualization tools to identify trends and communicate insights, supporting the development of data-driven solutions, and collaborating with team members to understand business needs and translate them into reporting and analytical solutions. Additionally, the intern will assist with data documentation, quality review, process improvement initiatives, and support Digital team projects to complete deliverables. Collaboration on new ideas and innovations is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from an accredited university
- Major: Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Supporting data collection, preparation, validation, and analysis across business functions
