About The Position

The Digital Content Specialist will focus on managing and optimizing Alterra Mountain Company’s AI chat platforms and digital content experiences. This role will play a critical part in enhancing user engagement across our digital ecosystem through conversational AI and content strategy. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in chatbot management, marketing, or copywriting.
  • 1-2 years’ experience with Content Management Systems.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and task management skills; ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Professional/lived experience proactively marketing, communicating, and driving sales in a culturally competent manner to a broad range of audiences and new/emerging markets, including to underrepresented communities
  • Passionate about creating engaging and effective conversational chat experiences.
  • Collaborative in a team environment and successful independently.
  • Highly organized, analytical, detail- and action-oriented.
  • Acute listening skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Honors commitments through the delivery of timely and high-quality results.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of consumer digital behavior and consumer research.
  • Change leader – questions existing paradigms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage conversational AI model for Ikon Pass.
  • Assist in the deployment and optimization of chatbot experiences across resort websites and additional platforms.
  • Work closely with our third-party chatbot vendor to create technical specifications for how to improve the conversational creation process, troubleshoot issues, and implement platform updates and enhancements.
  • Track and analyze chatbot usages, performance metrics, and user inquiries to refine conversational flows and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively explore and test new AI-driven features or tools within marketing platforms to enhance user experience and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the internal teams to create, maintain, and update website, app, and blog content.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of content across all platforms.
  • Work with internal and external development teams to ensure content is correctly integrated and displayed on front-end digital experiences.
  • Identify and recommend ongoing improvements to chatbot workflows, content management processes, and user experience strategies.
  • Provide additional admin support as needed.
