About The Position

AWS IDC Content Studio is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to serve as a key production partner for IDP digital marketing content across AWS Marketing. This role is the vital link between creative vision and flawless delivery — orchestrating digital content projects from intake through final delivery, ensuring IDP programs and campaigns transform into exceptional, bar-raising work. As the "front of the house" partner, you will serve as the primary production partner for IDP v-teams and requestors across AWS Marketing, managing expectations, supporting cross-functional alignment, and ensuring every deliverable meets the highest standards of quality and brand integrity. This role demands strategic thinking, operational excellence, and interpersonal finesse.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of content creation or similar experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with web-based design tooling and project management software (Jira, Wrike, Workfront, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • 4+ years of experience in creative production, content production management, or program management in a marketing or agency environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading process improvements or operations tool implementations (e.g. digital asset management tool)
  • Experience in international content or localization of content
  • Experience in B2B technology or cloud marketing environments
  • Familiarity with Agile/sprint-based production workflows and content operations frameworks
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs such as marketing summits, global campaign launches, or integrated demand programs
  • Understanding of digital marketing content types including eBooks, paid media, email campaigns, display ads, and video content

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for requestors within the IDC and across AWS Marketing, managing expectations, communicating project status, and building trusted partnerships.
  • Conduct discovery calls to align on creative asks, refine project artifacts (Creative Brief, Bill of Materials), and confirm scope before moving into production.
  • Present tactical approaches, and business rationale to stakeholders and leadership — including documents reviewed at the Manager/Director level.
  • Manage end-to-end project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverable schedules across multiple concurrent IDP campaigns.
  • Establish workback schedules during the Confirmation stage to achieve on-time delivery across all content tiers.
  • Coordinate between creative, strategy, IDP v-teams, and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate creative disciplines across video production, UX design, graphic design, and copywriting.
  • Serve as the single-threaded production partner for assigned IDP programs — the most familiar person with content, project nuances, contracts, and talent commitments.
  • Support the selection, onboarding, and management of external agency and production partners.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with agency partners; escalate risks and flag issues proactively to protect project timelines.
  • Track project budgets and optimize resource utilization across internal teams and external partners to maximize output quality.
  • Develop project plans including steps, timelines, and communication rollout strategies.
  • Implement rigorous review processes to ensure all deliverables meet AWS brand standards, technical specifications, and requestor requirements before final delivery.
  • Maintain working knowledge across creative disciplines — video, UX, graphic design, and written content — and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, XD) for quality assessment.
  • Contribute to AI-enabled process improvements and automation opportunities to accelerate content production cycles.
  • Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate status updates to senior team members and leadership with clarity and consistency.
