About The Position

FOX 5 Atlanta is seeking a high-energy, detail-obsessed Digital Content Creator to join their team. This role focuses on telling compelling stories that matter to the audience and achieving digital and social dominance through engaging, UX-focused content. The ideal candidate will thrive in a competitive, creative culture and possess a passion for digital news.

Requirements

• Superior news judgment and impeccable writing skills with a zero-tolerance policy for grammatical errors.
• Proficiency in social media, Content Management Systems (CMS), video publishing, and live streaming.
• Experience with video and photo editing (Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus).
• Experience with digital analytics tools.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple goals simultaneously.
• Team-oriented with a personal drive to meet and exceed goals.
• 3+ years of experience developing and publishing content (including news) on digital and social platforms.
• BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or a related field with an emphasis on digital publishing.
• Stellar communication skills.
• Ability to work productively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience with AI tools for content workflows and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-impact text stories, photos, graphics, and social media elements.
• Manage and engage audiences across various social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
• Identify and implement innovative ways to use AI tools for content workflows and storytelling.
• Optimize content for SEO and monitor analytics to adjust strategies.
• Act as a liaison between the newsroom and digital platforms, ensuring timely delivery of breaking news.
• Collaborate with the Group Content Team and other FTS markets to distribute stories.
