About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Portfolio Insights Consultant to join their team in Houston, TX. The company is focused on delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions. This role is part of a technology-driven initiative, emphasizing digital transformation and the use of data, AI/ML, sensors, IIOT, and drones. The Portfolio Insights team works with a SaaS-based data management solution used by government and private clients, currently involved in implementing and customizing the product for large government agencies and adapting it for lead and copper legislation. The consultant will join a team focused on enhancing this platform to support a growing client base.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience developing web, desktop, or mobile applications using technologies such as AngularJS, React, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and Azure Web Apps.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common software design patterns.
Experience with front-end and back-end development, services, and third-party API integrations.
Experience developing resilient, reusable microservices and RESTful APIs using modern technologies and patterns.
Database experience, including SQL, query optimization, and database design; SQL Server experience is preferred.
Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines, containers, cloud technologies, and Microsoft web technologies.
Experience with test-driven development and building maintainable, usable, and scalable software solutions.

Nice To Haves

3+ Years of Experience with Product Development
Master’s or Minor in Computer Science
Developing RESTful APIs
Architecture, design awareness with good knowledge of design patterns & their implementation.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting high-quality full-stack software solutions in a DevOps and Agile environment.
Building cloud-native applications in Azure.
