About The Position

The Corporate Communications department at Publix spearheads internal communications and press releases, publishes monthly newsletters and annual benefits notices, handles department-specific communications, and manages digital content for Publix's internally facing platforms. Within the department, the Digital Communications Coordinator position will manage content calendars and support the scheduling of content for associate-directed digital channels, assist the communications project managers in developing production timelines for simple efforts or templated projects, maintain and enhance department SharePoint sites, and maintain established applications and provide technical support to department associates.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience (if applicable)
  • 1 year of communications, public relations, marketing or project coordination experience, or a communications internship
  • 1 year of using Microsoft 365 technologies
  • knowledge of communication principles, processes, tools, techniques and planning
  • ability and willingness to adjust one's style or approach in response to differing circumstances or to work in ambiguous situations
  • ability to self-direct work activities and take action on tasks without direction from a supervisor
  • ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities, schedule staff, and obtain and manage resources so that work objectives are accomplished on time and within budget

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of creating and managing SharePoint sites
  • 3 years of using Microsoft 365 technologies
  • experience using Microsoft Power platform applications (Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate)
  • knowledge of project management techniques
  • knowledge of maintaining SharePoint sites
  • knowledge of department and company organizational structure, including roles and responsibilities of key associates
  • advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • basic skills PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate
