Reporting to Vice President, Communications, the Digital Communications Coordinator helps shape and manage digital content and membership/audience engagement across multiple channels, including web, enewsletters, social media, and design templates. This role is ideal for a communications professional who is curious, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence. The coordinator will help identify, develop, and publish content that advances WICHE’s mission as a nonpartisan regional higher education compact and supports the organization’s communications strategy. This full-time role will support digital communications across two teams: 50% for WICHE Communications and 50% for the State Authorization Network (SAN). This position is well suited for an early-career professional or someone returning to the field who is eager to contribute their skills and experience. The successful candidate requires strong editorial instincts and an audience-centered approach that drives timely and relevant engagement. The coordinator will write and edit content, maintain editorial and branding standards, and collaborate with key staff to translate complex and nuanced topics into clear, accessible, and balanced communications and marketing messages and other assets.
