The Digital Communications and Marketing Assistant (Practicum) supports the Literacy Centre of Expertise (LCE) in planning and delivering digital communications and outreach initiatives. Working closely with the LCE team, the practicum student contributes to social media campaigns, creates digital content, and helps promote LCE resources, modules, and professional development opportunities to instructors and the broader sector. Responsibilities may include creating and scheduling social media content, designing visuals, producing short promotional videos, and capturing photos and videos to support outreach. The student may also assist with email marketing initiatives, including developing newsletters, designing templates, and organizing and expanding mailing lists. This role provides hands-on experience in digital communications, content creation, and marketing within a literacy and adult education context.
