About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Digital Business Analyst opening for our client. This role supports digital product development and experience delivery for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) deal administration capabilities. The analyst will elicit, analyze, and document business and product requirements from various stakeholders, including business, technology, operations, product, risk, and compliance. Responsibilities include documenting current-state business processes, screen flows, user journeys, data requirements, and interface requirements. The role involves developing user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and traceability documentation. The analyst will also support the review of wireframes, prototypes, and proposed user experiences, incorporating user feedback. Defining and tracking success metrics, developing functional test scripts, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) are key duties. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify scope, dependencies, risks, and delivery requirements is essential. The position also supports product vision, roadmap execution, backlog management, and enhancement delivery, advocating for end users and ensuring solutions balance client experience, business value, operational efficiency, and risk management. Identifying risk, control, compliance, and operational considerations during discovery and requirements definition is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, or a related field.
  • Business analyst experience supporting digital products, platforms, or technology-enabled business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex workflows, systems, and stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to produce accurate, complete, and well-structured documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and evolving environments.
  • Client-centric mindset with the ability to balance user needs, business outcomes, operational efficiency, and control requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting UI/UX discovery, screen flows, requirements, and digital product delivery.
  • Experience with digital experience metrics and user measurement.
  • Experience with business process modeling tools such as Lucidchart or Visio.
  • Understanding of digital security and access management concepts, including authentication, identity verification, login, and account security controls.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) experience or knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
  • Business analysis, Agile, or related certifications/coursework.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

  • Support digital product development and experience delivery for Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) deal administration capabilities.

  • Support product vision, roadmap execution, backlog management, and enhancement delivery.
  • Advocate for end users and help ensure solutions balance client experience, business value, operational efficiency, and risk management.
  • Identify risk, control, compliance, and operational considerations during discovery and requirements definition.
  • Support the evolution of digital M&A capabilities and associated institutional services tools.
  • Perform structured discovery and translate complex workflows and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Partner across product, technology, operations, business, risk, and compliance functions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Contribute to client-facing and employee-facing digital solutions and measure enhancement outcomes.
  • Maintain high standards for documentation quality, requirements traceability, and delivery readiness.
