About The Position

This role involves maintaining a comprehensive digital archiving system, responding to record requests, processing images, and ensuring all documentation and archiving activities meet federal and state regulatory guidelines. The position requires adherence to professional and ethical standards, effective communication, and the ability to manage records accurately and confidentially. Compass Connections is committed to following immunization recommendations from the CDC, requiring all employees to receive an annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption. Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Two (2) plus years of related experience and/or training.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers, and professionals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
  • Demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently.
  • Demonstrate the ability to maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Four (4) plus years of related experience and/or training.
  • First aid certification.
  • CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards applicable to this position.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions as needed.
  • Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct, demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members, and complying with the required dress code.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face-to-face with agency staff, vendors, community members, and regulatory and contract staff.
  • Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing, and/or contract requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive digital archiving system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed.
  • Receive, track, and respond to a high volume of inquiries and requests for stored records from internal and external agencies in a timely manner.
  • Process raw images using the appropriate software.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation or training in accordance with agency policies and procedures and contract and regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Meet all deadlines required by the program supervisor and federal partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.
