Concorde Education•Glen Cove, NY

About The Position

Concorde Education seeks independent instructional contractors for potential digital animation enrichment assignments serving K–12 students at partner schools. Assignments are on-site and vary by school, grade level, schedule, curriculum, technology, and program objectives. Instruction is in person and typically takes place after school for 1–4 instructional service hours per week over approximately 10 weeks. Opportunities arise throughout the school year. Contractors may accept or decline available assignments and use professional judgment to adapt instruction within the agreed assignment scope and applicable site requirements. Concorde may provide curriculum guidance, lesson suggestions, project ideas, resources, or objectives. Typical compensation is $50+ per completed instructional service hour, depending on assignment details and agreed terms; contractors may propose a rate. Unless otherwise approved in writing, compensation is based on completed instructional hours with students. Payment is generally made by direct deposit on the fifteenth day of the month after services are completed, subject to the accepted assignment terms and applicable law. Contractors may plan and facilitate age-appropriate, project-based animation sessions introducing students to animation principles, visual storytelling, creative design, and digital media production. Depending on the assignment, student projects may include animations, motion graphics, stop-motion projects, digital stories, GIFs, or other final projects. Contractors are expected to foster a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment, communicate assignment-related needs or significant concerns as appropriate, complete a brief session completion form after each scheduled session, and follow applicable site procedures. Assignments may use school-provided technology, Chromebooks, Wick Editor, web-based animation platforms, digital art software, curriculum resources, lesson plans, project guidelines, digital media resources, and presentation tools. Contractors may use their own appropriate materials and methods consistent with the assignment scope and site requirements. Any purchases for which reimbursement is sought must be approved in writing in advance. Selection and placement are not guaranteed and depend on assignment fit, agreed compensation, onboarding, applicable background-check review and site-specific clearance, and final written confirmation.
