About The Position

This role is for a Digital Advisor II, a hybrid position located in Chino, CA, with a duration of 18 months. The role involves leading team members in regulatory reporting, implementing controls, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. The position also requires coordinating with various groups, managing priorities, and reviewing the work of team members for financial reporting and audits. Additionally, the role supports the Safety Management System QA/QC team by tracking, validating, and maintaining program data, updating trackers and dashboards, reviewing documentation, compiling summaries, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure organized records for audit readiness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Typically possesses ten or more years of combined experience performing or supervising function.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience supporting safety, QA/QC, compliance, audit, data analysis, project coordination, or operational reporting activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret QA/QC data, track multiple workstreams, and identify trends, gaps, and follow-up needs.
  • Detail-oriented, comfortable working with trackers and dashboards.
  • Ability to connect related concepts from different safety programs, field activities, and implementation efforts.
  • Ability to translate data into clear summaries.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to support audit-ready documentation for Safety Management System QA/QC activities.
  • Strong Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, conditional formatting, formulas, pivot tables, and basic trend summaries.
  • Experience using SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft 365 tools to organize information and communicate status.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Quality Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience working across multiple business units, Operating Units, or cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Experience supporting Safety Management System, quality assurance/quality control, audit, compliance, risk management, or operational excellence activities.
  • Ability to interpret data beyond surface-level tracking and identify patterns, gaps, inconsistencies, and potential follow-up needs.
  • Strong intuition for connecting related concepts across multiple Operating Units, safety programs, and workstreams.
  • Ability to manage multiple data points, owners, due dates, status updates, and competing priorities with accuracy and follow-through.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC practices such as conformance checks, data validation, documentation review, corrective action tracking, trend analysis, and audit readiness.
  • Comfortable working with incomplete or evolving information and asking the right clarifying questions to move work forward.

Responsibilities

  • Lead team members in the preparation and review of regulatory reporting packages quarterly and annually.
  • Implement sound controls and processes to support regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Support team members through the preparation of supporting schedules and addressing complex technical questions for audits.
  • Lead team members in the preparation and submission of all financial reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure the Client's compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with various accounting and operational groups to obtain required information.
  • Perform adequate planning and manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Review and oversee the work of team members in the compilation of information related to quarterly financial reporting and annual audited financial statements.
  • Track, validate, and maintain program data related to field verification activities, conformance checks, corrective actions, and implementation milestones.
  • Update trackers and dashboards, monitor open action items and follow-up needs.
  • Review submitted documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Compile routine status summaries.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain missing information.
  • Maintain organized records to support audit readiness and continuous improvement.
