About The Position

The Digital Ads Specialist Intern will support the planning, execution, and optimization of paid digital advertising campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and fundraising outcomes for Nisa Foundation. This role offers hands-on experience managing real campaign budgets, analyzing performance data, and collaborating with a mission-driven marketing team. It is ideal for students interested in digital marketing, paid media, nonprofit fundraising, and data-driven campaign optimization.

Requirements

  • Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Interest or basic familiarity with paid advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communications skills.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or a protected person within the meaning of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
  • Able to provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
  • Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Ads, and Feathr.
  • Develop audience targeting and retargeting strategies to reach donors, volunteers, and community members using Feathr.
  • Coordinate ad timelines and budgets to align with organizational campaigns and fundraising priorities.
  • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, copy, formats, and placement to improve ROI.
  • Monitor and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, conversions, and engagement rates.
  • Make data-informed recommendations to adjust targeting, creative, or spend.
  • Track and analyze campaign KPIs across all platforms.
  • Compile insights and performance summaries for internal reporting.
  • Assist with final analytics and budget reporting at the end of the contract.
