About The Position

Audacy is seeking a hungry, high-performing Sales Executive to join their Chicago team. This role focuses on driving revenue by leading with their premium podcast network and leveraging full-scale digital agency capabilities to capture and own the entire client marketing funnel. The position offers the autonomy of an entrepreneurial role backed by the resources of an industry giant, allowing the executive to sell a complete suite of multi-platform solutions including Programmatic Display/Video, Paid Search, Paid Social, and Hyper-targeted OTT/CTV. The goal is to lead with podcasting and close the entire marketing budget by executing all aspects of a client's campaign.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within digital advertising, paid media, or the podcast/audio space.
  • Track record of beating quota and the numbers to prove it.
  • Ability to lead a client strategy with podcasting and wrap a deal in Paid Search, Social, and Programmatic.
  • Understanding of attribution tracking and how audio moves the needle.
  • Ability to sell business outcomes and ROI.
  • Knowledge of the media landscape, podcast trends, and what brands need to say to stay relevant.
  • Knowledge of the local Chicago market.
  • Ability to pitch major national accounts.
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt down and close new business relationships with local, regional, and national brands looking to dominate the podcast and streaming audio space.
  • Design high-impact, multi-platform digital solutions using premium podcast integrations, streaming audio, and advanced performance marketing tools.
  • Manage the pipeline and lead campaigns that move the needle for your clients, from cold outreach to closing large-scale contracts.
  • Consistently beat monthly and quarterly revenue goals, unlocking an aggressive commission structure.
