About The Position

The Differential Rebuilder is a key member of the Differential Department, responsible for the complete and precise assembly of differential components in accordance with quality standards and production timelines. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of a wide range of differential models, including their unique specifications and performance requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Previous mechanical experience or training, preferably in automotive or heavy-duty equipment repair or assembly.
  • Ability to use hand tools as required for assembly and repaid tasks.
  • Strong understanding of differential systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and service manuals.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and rebuild differentials according to established procedures and manufacturer specifications.
  • Accurately identify parts and components for various differential models.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ensure all rebuilt differentials meet quality and performance standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve mechanical issues and improve processes.
  • Assist in training new team members as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
