About The Position

Take the next step in your career with Morrison Healthcare as a PRN/Part Time Dietitian in EL PASO, TX! This position is located at Morrison Healthcare at THOP Memorial in an acute care hospital setting. The Registered Dietitian (RD) provides comprehensive medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to patients across the lifespan-from neonates to geriatrics. The RD collaborates as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess nutritional status, develop and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans, and evaluate outcomes to promote optimal patient health and recovery. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community
  • Apply the latest research in alignment with the diet manual, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high-quality, consistent care
  • Contribute to QAPI initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence
  • Partner with the food service management team to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals
  • Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training as applicable
