The registered dietitian has a solid foundation of education, credentialing, evidence-based practice, demonstrated competence, and adheres to established professional standards. Responsible for providing comprehensive medical nutrition therapy to acute care patients while upholding Providence's mission and core values. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field preferred
  • Coursework/Training ACEND-accredited supervised practice program at a health-care facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies
  • Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification OR Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Temporary Practice Permit OR Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist Certification
  • Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree Nutrition and/or Dietetics or related field
  • 2 years Professional experience in clinical nutrition in an acute care setting
